Ambush in the Snowby *hyperionwitch

Just a piece I did for fun. I don't get a lot of practice drawing animals, and I used to be a big horse fan. Plus, these two characters just happen to both have horses they use frequently. I figured I'd try my hand at drawing them, and the sketch turned out well enough that I painted it.

Mostly an exercise in atmosphere once I got past the sketch stage, since the painting itself was pretty straightforward. Cloudy weather doesn't offer much in the way of dramatic lighting. lol

I like how it turned out! Anyway, more work on the way (hopefully some more pieces for Scenes from Vvardenfell).

Setting is from Skyrim, which belongs to Bethesda

No no, this lady's just a mage--I think the idea of being a part of the Dark Brotherhood would horrify her. Her horse is just a standard Whiterun Stables horse. lol Plus, if it was Shadowmere, I definitely would have had it glowing. Hair wouldn't completely obscure that kind of light, I think.
