The second half of my entry for *kittystavern's contest to redesign her geisha-assassin character, Alexis.

Since I don't want to rant too much, I'll just say a few things. Firstly, I LOVE THIS PICTURE. I did it with the blue line technique so I would have softer pencil lines. Then I did my best to make it realistic and make the fabrics look like they were the right textures and lit the correct way. Of course, midway through my light source kind of...died/became somewhat more ambiguous, so...well, anyway. Second, I would like to thank ~flutterstock for the patterns (Gemstone Silks), I used them for her obi and the shirt. I messed with their colors, but I still used them and they were really awesome to have. Third, smallest and probably the most frivolous, I put pink beneath her eyes. I just...I dunno, I like it. *giggle*

(And uh, I'm sorry but DA kind of dulled some of the colors...grr, DA, grr.)

It's kind of big, but I didn't want to lose any details. I'm so proud of this picture--the design, the pose, the coloring...yeah. I hope you like her, *kittystavern!
