And here's Marien!

Marien has the unfortunate distinction of being the most complicated character. Between having a billion different parts to her outfit and being decked out in chainmail, she usually takes the most time to draw and color. I'm still hammering out a good, simple chainmail technique for cel shaded images--I think this is pretty good.

Anyway, there you go. The character the player will control in the game! Man, looking at my older images of her is embarrassing, I had no idea what I was doing with her (or anyone, really--they just looked...kind of terrible).

I know nothing of this 'Cursed' and i want to know aboot it.

Please tell me more about this. . . Marien lady who seems to be so cross

Maaarien is the character that the player controls (since she's not totally incompetent like Calen is). She's a paladin in the church (pretty high ranking, actually), the type who uses a big ol' two handed sword while also dabbling in magic, and she's really devout and stern and wise but also the type who's always out to help people and defend innocents. That kind of person. Not to say she doesn't have flaws, but...y'know, that's for a longer description. She comes into the story when she's sent to the church to protect the stone (and the goddess tasks her with helping Calen in his journey). She gets frustrated with him being a jerk, haha.
