Name: Lakai

Personality: Serious-faced and careful with words, Lakai almost always comes across as shy or softspoken, when in actuality she is simply not apt to speak when she has nothing useful to say. She is rarely seen smiling, and she has a great deal of focus when a task is at hand, but she has a sense of humor and is very capable of making her own, deadpan jokes and employing sarcasm. That said, she usually takes a bit to open up around people and is prone to keeping things bottled up.
Short Bio: Lakai was born to a family of Terminians, the younger of two children. Her father was a guard-turned mercenary, and her mother had traveled the world as a young woman, so both kids were instructed in things like combat and practical traveling skills. An older couple when they had children, eventually both parents passed away, leaving the nearly-adult children on their own. While her brother picked up blacksmithing, Lakai followed in her father's footsteps and became a mercenary. Her line of work took her into Hyrule, and she began using Castle Town as home away from home.

I wanted to try a different take on Lakai, so here's an AU where her parents weren't murdered or whatever melodramatic thing I had before! Fascinating.

Also hook swords are decidedly asian, but LET'S PUT THEM IN THIS SETTING ANYWAY.
